--------- Hello, Could somebody help me to solve this problem? I'm adding SL/IP driver to ESIX Rev.C (if you never dealt with it - it's System V.3.2 plus TCP/IP, probably Wollongong, but I'm not sure about that). Now all I need is to push the new driver to the STREAM under IP module, and SL/IP is running (well, after slattach :-). But the "netdaemon" supplied with the system, as I was told, cannot be configured. So: what should I do to push this SLIP driver to the stream? I would write my own daemon to do just this, but I'm a bit afraid to break all the TCP/IP - since there's no configuration file ("netd.cf"), I don't know exactly what that daemon is doing, what links it's setting, and so on... How can I do this without breaking other things? Where can I find out what that "netdaemon" is doing in order to emulate it? Who can help? Your help is mostly appreciated. Regards, Uri. uri@ibm.com ------------ uunet!bywater!scifi!angmar!uri <Disclaimer> P.S. The driver I'm using came from Mr. John Ioannidis, it needed small adjustments, but basically it's good as is.
