I see many cars these days with faulty or improper lights. I was nearly hit about an hour ago in a parking lot by a guy whose reverse lights didn't work. I didn't see that he was about to pull his Pontiac sports car out, peeling rubber backward. Many of today's cars have clear lenses over the parking lights, with yellow bulbs. It looks like most drivers are replacing the yellow bulbs with white ones. ARGHHHHHHHHHH! The lights on your car aren't there to make it look pretty. They are there so that you can see and be seen. They are there so that you, your car, and your intentions can be visible. They are not there to blind the other driver as you approach (how often are tickets given for improper use of lights? For improper lights?) So check your lights. Put the RIGHT bulbs in. Dim your high beams WHENEVER they illuminate another car. Don't plug up the road by driving right next to someone, or sit at a green light waiting for it to go red. And don't wear your galoshes in the house. Mark Terribile hou5d!mat
