[comp.unix.i386] Token ring LAN under VP/ix

sjm@well.sf.ca.us (Stephen Moehle) (03/25/90)

I have Interactive's 386/ix 2.0.2 UNIX, VP/ix (MSDOS under UNIX), an IBM
8-bit token ring network card, and IBM PC-NET software. Is there any
possibitilty that I could get the card and network running in VP/ix? If
so, how? If you know that it can or can't be done, please send E-mail. If
I can get this to work, I will post a complete description. Thanks.

Just a simple question for you: does Vp/Ix works with Dos 3.31??? I've two
65 megs Hard Disks, in the first I have i386, in the second a single doe 3.31
partition of 65 megs and NO unix partition. Do you think I'll be able to use
Vp/ix in a similar environment or have I to change something???

Ciao Ciao
