To all who sent me suggestions re my white smoke problem, thank you. It was indeed a head gasket. I don't have it back yet, but they are shaving the head (I think that is probably normal procedure) and will be checking it out. Total bill about $250. Your suggestions possibly saved me a complete overhaul. Thanks.
