[comp.unix.i386] Anyone using Wollongong TCP on ISC Unix?

tom@litle.litle.com (tom hampton) (07/03/90)

Does it work for you?

How much does it cost?

Is there some reason why you are not using ISC's vaunted
Lachman implementation?

I'm not using it (for obvious reasons) but I've seen it work.

The TCP/IP with 386/ix, or INTERACTIVE UNIX as the new release is called,
doesn't use the Lachman implementation of TCP/IP although it does use the
LAI NFS.

Vaunted or otherwise, the INTERACTIVE Host-Based TCP/IP is not derived from
Lachman System V STREAMS TCP; it was developed by INTERACTIVE. INTERACTIVE's
NFS *is* derived from Lachman System V NFS.
