Yes,
upgrade from TCP/IP 1.1.[012] to TCP/IP 1.2.0. The problem goes away
(at least I haven't seen it since). It's a "feature" of the earlier drivers.
They weren't bad by any means but there were a few hiccups in odd places -
e.g. (from the Release notes), executing 9 simultaneous pings would PANIC
the system. Why anybody would *want* to execute nine simultaneous pings
is quite beyond me - Oh well.
