DO NOT DISABLE THE BIOS ON THE CARD.  THE SYSTEM NEEDS IT IF THERE IS ONLY
ONE OTHER TYPE OF HARD DRIVE IN THE SYSTEM.

The only time you need to disable the BIOS is if there are already 2 hard
drives in the system, but if there are not the BIOS is required for the
system to recognize it.  I don't know if this is your problem, but give
it a try.
