I need to be able to read and write to my DOS partition under UNIX but I do not have VP/ix. I read an article that said the DOS partiton is mountable with or with out VP/ix with the following command: mount -f DOS /dev/dsk/0p0 /dos where /dos is a subdirectory. When I enter this command I get the error that <DOS> is not a valid fs. Is it possible to mount a DOS partition with AT&T UNIX 3.2 w/o VP/ix? If so how? Thanks, Jeff

I am using ISC 2.0.2 . WARNING!! Always use the fdisk command supplied with your version of *inx when changing the active partition. Using the {PC MS}-DOS fdisk can kill your *inx partition... One of my co-workers lost one, and then found the comment in the documentation about not doing that.... I'm not certain of the exact proceedures, since I just swap hard drives when I need DOS. -- Gary Heston { uunet!sci34hub!gary } System Mismanager SCI Technology, Inc.
