[net.auto] Engine suggestion for home-built car wanted.

	I am currently building a home brew car.  It is going to
be a Lamborghini Countach S replica, but I need suggestions as
to a good power plant,transaxle. I need to use a front wheel drive power
train transplanted to the rear in a mid-engine configuration.

	I would like a non-transverse system, with the engine
as far in front of the half-shafts as possible.  After that 
constraint is satisfied my wish list includes.

	1) 5-speed trans.
	2) v6 or v8 power plant.
	3) Ease of repair (no wierd cars).


     Any help in this endeavor would be greatly appreciated
