AT&T 3.2.1 doesn't either ... But thanks to the couple of folks who
sent the GNU alloca().  Haven't tried it yet, but looks good.

AT&T 3.2.1 (aka 3.2u), with the 4.1.6 development package DOES have
libPW.a (I have it and i use it and it is documented)
