A friend of mine ask the following OMNI problem query be posted: I have a 1983 Dodge OMNI and have been experiencing the following problem: When trying to go a steady speed (gear or speed not critical), the car starts to buck as though the gas supply were being cut off or the brakes were being intermittently applied. To date, all three fuel filters have been changed, the fuel pump replaced, and the microprocessor unit replaced. If anyone has had a similar problem, I would like to hear what (if anything) was done to fix the problem. Also, it seems to occur more regularly when the weather is warm and particularly when it is warm and wet. If you know of a solution to this bug, please mail it to me: seismo!rochester!ritcv!ccieng5!ccieng6!rkd or call: (716) 482-5000 x 2484 - Ray Downes
