Word of caution to those of you planning to install Interactive UNIX 2.2 on a large hard disk (disks with more than 17 sectors per track). I found out the hard way yesterday that if you have a hard disk with more than 17 sectors per track, you have to use either a firmware SETUP program or a DOS setup program to reset the hard disk type from whatever DOS expects to hard disk type "1" before starting to install Interactive UNIX 2.2. The Interactive installation guide does not mention until the very last page of the installation instructions! And, it is buried in the middle of the text. No boldface; no finger icon pointing this out; no box surrounding the text to bring it to your attention. -- Todd Ogasawara, U. of Hawaii UUCP: {uunet, ucbvax, dcdwest}!ucsd!nosc!uhccux!todd ARPA: uhccux!todd@nosc.MIL BITNET: todd@uhccux INTERNET: todd@uhccux.UHCC.HAWAII.EDU
