[comp.unix.i386] bus mouse on ATI VGA won't talk to me.

I have been trying to install an ATI VGA wonder 512 card on my machine
running ISC 2.0.1, but until now, trying all kinds of kernel
configurations, the mouse (/dev/mouse) still refuses to talk to me.
Is there something that I am overlooking?
Needless to say I can't use it in X either.

We run the mouse on the ATI VGA wonder board under X using 2.2
(it also worked with 2.02) using the logi drivers.
