I just received my rev D upgrade to Esix and am quite impressed with most of it. Particularly the new X windows implementation; very nice. I am having a bit of trouble using SLIP though. My problem is that in order to get to my SLIP connection I have to go through a short conversation with a network switch. It appears that this can not be done using Esix's implmentation of SLIP due to it taking up the IRQ for the serial port. Any ideas on a work around??? This also makes the port useless for any other communication also. If this, is in fact, true then it is quite useless to me.
