Does anyone have any experience using more than one serial line for SLIP at a time? I am running 386/ix 2.2 and would like to have 2 modems running SLIP at the same time. Can it be done? Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated. adTHANKSvance Joe Broniszewski

I am also very interested in multi-line SLIP, with up to four lines running at the same time. The other problem I haven't figured out how to resolve is hoow to make SLIP resopnd to any address. I want to allow a user to dialin via modem and start SLIP (which I know Interactive 2.2 supports, and it works!), but at the present time I can only get it to work with one address (like 44.60.0.200), but want it to respond to any 44.xx.xx.xx address. Does anybody have any idea how I might acomplish the above... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Internet : howardl@wb3ffv.ampr.org | Howard D. I will respond to my own question here. I was wondering whether or not I could more than one port running SLIP at a time. According to ISC tech support, they currently only support one line at a time. They said that if I could get anything more going, I would be on my own. They also mentioned that in the next release, there may be multi- line SLIP or PEP available.
