Hi again, I've done a little preliminary experimenting with modem communications with Esix. I think I can get inbound communications to work ok, but it looks like the gettydefs file needs some tweaking. I had to change it so that the baud rate didn't drop, in order to get it to communicate successfully. My goal is as follows: Use (for now) a USR HST for both inbound calls (unix sessions and bbs calls), outbound calls using Pcomm or similar comm program, and both inbound and outbound Uucp calls. Does anyone have any suggestions on how this should be set up? The "Pcomm calls" part is the LEAST critical, as I can (and will) be using a different modem & port for that most of the time anyway. The inbound calls and uucp calls are critical. Input from others doing similar things with Esix would be appreciated and useful. Thanks!
