I am very desperate to get gnu ld going on SCO Unix V.3.2.0 I have compiled it but now have another problem. Running robotussin on the library libc.a (for the rcc AT&T compiler) yields errors of the form : robotussin : truncated string table - expected -4 got 0 on some of the .o files. One file it happens on is sleep.o Whether this is the problem or something else, any program linked with gnu ld crashes with a segmentation fault. All I really need is a working gnu ld and a working library converter for SCO Unix V.3.2.0 using the COFF-ENCAP options. Any help would be vastly appreciated. This really needs to be done in the next 24 hours +--------------------------------+--------------------------------------------+ Kim Shearer | ARPA: kim%wacsvax.uwa.oz@uunet.uu.net Dept. of Computer Science | UUCP: ..!uunet!munnari!wacsvax!kim University of Western Australia | ACSnet: kim@wacsvax.uwa.oz CRAWLEY, Australia 6009 | PHONE: +61 9 380 3452 +--------------------------------+--------------------------------------------+
