[comp.unix.i386] SCO Unix 'talk' command

eli (Steve Elias) (08/29/90)

if you're running X windows under SCO, try issuing the "talk" command.

it doesn't matter who you try to talk to, but if your /etc/utmp
doesn't have an entry for your X terminal pseudo tty, you'll get
a funny error message. maybe my sense of humor is deluded, but
check it out anyway, eh?

Credit where credit is due, unless the message is funnier than "You
don't exist. Go away.", which is the message that 4.3BSD's "talk" issues
in that case....
