Nope, but there is a way to simulate them, at least for directories. It requires that you have the STREAMS, TCP/IP, and NFS subsets installed. You don't need an ethernet card, this will work with the loopback driver. Example: Suppose you want to symbolically link /var/spool to /usr/spool. Put /var into the /etc/exports file, and create an entry in /etc/fstab to look like this: localhost:/var/spool /usr/spool NFS Of course you need an empty directory /usr/spool before rebooting the machine or running /etc/mountall. -- Wolf N.
