[gnu.g++.lib.bug] pretesters wanted

dl@G.OSWEGO.EDU (Doug Lea) (11/09/89)

Users with an increasingly diverse range of machines/systems
are using libg++. It is becoming difficult to make sure whether
changes in libg++ apparently needed for some systems can be
integrated without disrupting things for other users. I need some
help in this.

If you can help PRETEST libg++ releases, I would be very grateful if
you could contact me directly (dl@oswego.edu). You should

    * have internet ftp access
    * be willing to test prereleases within a few days of a request

I am currently developing libg++ on a Sun4/110 running SunOs4.0.3.
If you have a different machine/OS, and are willing to pretest,
please get in touch with me.

Among the most useful would be

Sun3, SunOs3.X
HP9000/x, HPUX
DataGeneral, DGUX
Encore, Umax or Mach
Decstation3100, Ultrix
Next
Vax, BSD or Ultrix
various MIPS, various OS
various 386, various OS
various 88K, various OS
Anything else out of the ordinary
