The discussion period for a "fine art" newsgroup has passed. The response was generally positive. Some people questioned whether the group would be for "fine" art, or electronic art or what; the answer is that the term "fine art" in this group will refer to traditional as well as new art forms, as explained in the charter. This is the official call for votes for the creation of rec.arts.fine.
