Here's the mileage for my car: 1983 Mitsubishi Turbo Diesel 4WD truck with 5 speed manual transmission High: 28.61 (mostly freeway trip) Low: 20.43 (included a lot of slow off road driving in low gears and 4WD) Average: 24.58 for first 12K miles I haven't had a chance for a really long trip to see what it would get in constant freeway driving, but I expect it might top 30mpg.
