Joe is correct.  The book is by James Thornton, not Lloyd Thorndyke.  Mr.
Thornton did indeed found (along with others from CDC) Network Systems.  He
(Thornton) is now retired from employment here, but continues to serve on
the board of directors.  I have not seen a publication by Mr. Thorndyke.
He did, just after the closure of ETA, have sessions with a local free-lance
writer.  Supposedly, these were to be formed into a publication;  it never
occurred, at least to my knowledge.
