For a piece that I am contemplating writing -- it will be fiction, but will involve some technology, and I want to make sure the technical stuff is correct -- I am looking for pointers for good background information on the OV-10 aircraft. I know that I can get basic statistical facts from reference sources such as JANES. What I am looking for would contain more background than that, such as handling peculiarities, etc. Pointers to books and or articles would be appreciated. First hand stories, if you've dealt with these aircraft, would be even better. (Yes, I've already done a subject search our OUR on-line catalog -- with negative results.) Unfortunately I never got to ride in an OV-10, though I did ride in Army O-1s and Air Force O-2s as a passenger during my time in Vietnam, 1969-70. If memory serves correctly, both the AF and Marines had OV-10s. Is there any difference in the versions? Has the Marine version ever been flown off a carrier? Please mail any info. Thanks -- Ernest ===================================================================== My opinions are my own and probably not IBM-compatible.--ehr --------------------------------------------------------------------- Ernest H.
