[sci.military] Disobedience and War Powers

From: military@att.att.com (Bill Thacker)

The recent thread on presidential/congressional war powers has gone
about as far as I can justify allowing. In the last couple of days,
I think the issue has been pretty well covered (and, I'll add, in a
very calm and rational way; part of the reason I let this political
topic go as far as it did was that it was a flameless, cool debate).

I've received mail expressing displeasure at reading this topic, though,
and, as it's outside the charter of this group, I feel bound to put an
end to it. BTW, my thanks to those who wrote me; feedback of this nature
allows me to gage what the readers like to see, or don't like to see.

For those interested in further debate, I would suggest
talk.politics.misc as the most likely group.
