It is on display in Charleston, SC, along with the carrier Yorktown.   
If you are driving down (or up) I-95, it is worth the detour to see them.

NSS-1 Savanah:  I think it had a gross tonnage around 20K-30K tons.
It was decommissioned in the 1960s.  Too little carrying capacity
in a world which went to container ships.  Strictly attempt an proof-of-
concept.  Amazing the trivia you learn during one's education toward
NROTC and a NucEng major.
