From: gahooten@ames.arc.nasa.gov In a book called _Bat 21_ there was mention of a mine that was seeded by air. The mine was frozen on impact, and as it defrosted, spread trip wires (?) outward. In this case it was used to surround an observation hill. Is there any other information out there about this type of ordnance. Also, there was talk some years ago about the Russians using a type of "Greek Fire" it was spread by plane again and fell in droplets on the road. Some triggering method would start the fire which burned until fuel was exhauseted. I gather, it was like walking into a bees nest with one step setting off one spot and stumbling onto more. Mean stuff. I would be interested in this also. What it is, and do we have something similar in inventory.
