Re: Intermittent Losing of Power in Plymouth TC-3 The next time you are driving along and your engine starts losing power in the manner you described, pull over to the side of the road and get out and remove your gas tank cap. If you hear a larger-than-usual hiss of air when you open the cap, and then your engine runs smoothly afterwords, then you'll know that you have a problem in the fuel-tank venting system.
