Then again, the Soviet don't yet have a credible ASAT capability, what they have is crude and slow, until the laser gets a bit hotter, or unitl they mine space. Then again, the Soviets might not even get a chance to KO the satellites, in a U.S. first strike. I was given to understand that GPS was a planned assist for Trident missiles, and it is not difficult to believe it would be implanted in future ICBMs.
