From: creps@silver.bacs.indiana.edu (Steve Creps) I currently am considering trying to become a Navy pilot, i.e. in the Aviation Officer Program. I have taken the written test (four parts: scholastic, mechanical, spatial apperception, and personal history), and apparently did pretty well on it, and my recruiter says he can "make me a pilot." As I understand it, the next steps would be the physical test, medical examination, interview with officers, formal application, and then off to Pensacola. I have not decided whether or not I will take the next step yet. I originally took the test just to see how I would do on it, but now am seriously considering trying the whole thing through. Does anyone have any experience with this program? Any information or advice would be appreciated. I'd be interested in things such as what I would have in store for me, what kind of chance would I have of actually making it, what to expect, and so forth. Also, if someone knows exactly what kind of test scores are what are being looked for, that would be great. Once again, this would be appreciated. - - - - - - - - - - Steve Creps, Indiana University, Bloomington, home of the "Hoosiers" creps@silver.bacs.indiana.edu (129.79.1.6) {inuxc,rutgers,uunet!uiucdcs,pur-ee}!iuvax!silver!creps
