From: Al Seaman <alse%tekig4.len.tek.com@RELAY.CS.NET> I'm looking for some help on trying to see if there is info available to try and find out about an air crew cheif from WW II. He was a friend of the family. I'm trying to research his past war history as I have his uniform and the like. I have copies from Army Personnel Records Center of most of his travels, but some were lost in one of the fires at the center. I know for sure that he was with the 356th Fighter Squadron and was an Air Crew Chief from mid '44 to '45 in Europe. Where can I go to find things like Unit history and or possibly whom he might have been crew chief for? Maybe even find a Unit roster or something like that. Please e-mail any info that could help me. Thanks in advance. --------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - Al Seaman - - alse@tekig4.LEN.TEK.com - - Beaverton, OR - - - ---------------------------------------------------------------------

From: hhm@ihlpy.ATT.COM (Mayo) The National Archives, Old Army Navy Records department might be able to help you. Sorry, I was there in person so I don't know what the address might be. Larry Mayo
