Anyone have any recommendations on how to determine if an old rusted car is structurally sound or a on a local garage to perform the diagnosis. I have an old car that has a few problems that I would just as soon live with rather than fix, but I want to make sure that it's not about to fall apart. Is there any cure for severe underside rust that does not involve an unjustifiable expense? (Note that this will appear separately in both net.auto and chi.wanted, since our news system appears to be using Artificial Stupidity (AS) techniques in screening articles and thinks that this is an ad for a car and won't let me post it to both at the same time!) -- Warren Montgomery ihnss!warren IH x2494
