  Israeli DoD and its publishing house (Ma'arachot) publish a number of
periodicals, among them Romach (javelin). This month Romach contains a
longish piece about the Merkava Mk III (see my summary in this group).

  Alas, I have no idea if Romach (ch as in Irish loch) is published in
English. They are usually fairly accurate, but almost never publish
line drawings.

  As I have access to the journal, I will from time to time translate some
of the more interesting pieces.

  Other journals published by various Israeli sources are:

     Air Force bimonthly
     Born in Battle (this one is in English)
     Be'ya'af (In Flight)
     and another one (do not remember the name).
