RE USS Iowa:
	The ship is still fully operational.  The #2 turret was cleaned up,
and an assesment of what parts were needed to return it to full operation
was made.  When the Iowa returns to port next time, they will begin installing
the newly fabricated parts.

RE DF'ing
	From WW II to now, both the transmitters and DF equipment have gotten
orders of magnitude better.  A good squirt transmission takes under one second,
but DF equipment can get at least a rough bearing on _anything_.  This is one  
reason why the USN now uses Satellite com for subs talking back to US.  The    
uplink from the sub is directional, so that nobody on the surface will hear it...
