Artillery and air attacks on Warsaw increase in intensity.

Rumanian Prime Minister Calinescu is assassinated by members of
the "Iron Guard", a fascist organization. The assassins are caught
and executed in public.

The "Heydrich plan" is implemented; 60,000 Jews from Danzig and western
Poland are to be relocated to ghettoes in central Poland.
