The fortress of Modlin is isolated from the rest of the Warsaw pocket.

Units of the Soviet Red Army occupy the important Polish oilfields
in Galicia.

Luftwaffe bombing raids on Warsaw are renewed, in preparation for
the final assault on the capitol.
