Anybody out there who is interested in modern swords and swordmakers/swordmaking should check their newsstands for the still-current issue of KNIVES ILLUSTRATED (Summer 1990, Vol 4 No. 3); there is an article beginning on page 58 on modern swords and their makers, with many illustrations, that you will find interesting. Previous issues of this magazine and of other publications directed toward knifemakers and collectors have had articles on modern-day swords, too; however, this particular issue is currently available while back issues of this and related magazines are hard to find (especially if you just want to see them and not buy them! :-).
