WW2 Daily Articles Available for Anonymous FTP

The daily WW2 articles (50 Years Ago Today) are being kept in a seperate
archive on mcs213k.cs.umr.edu (131.151.6.11) and are available for anonymous
ftp. For those lacking direct ftp access, articles can be retrieved by
mail by sending e-mail to me with the articles you want (by date).
Alternatively, a uucp connection should be able to be set up, send e-mail
for details.

The articles will be in the directory "sci.military" and will be grouped
together by month (e.g. the articles for October 1939 are in the file
"ww2.10.39.Z") and are kept in compressed tar format. If your system doesn't
have tar and/or uncompress capability, we'll work out a format you can use.

Note that the only thing I'm archiving is *just* the daily WW2 articles and
not any other articles, not even those related to the WW2 articles.

If you have any questions send e-mail.
