[net.auto] Engine oil is non-flammable

philw@tekcae.UUCP (Philip White) (04/19/84)

My engine once started spraying oil all over the
headers and spark plug wires. Eventually everything
got hot enough that the oil on a plug wire began
burning. These were silicone wires, designed for
high temperatures and definitely not flammable.
So the oil was burning.
