A friend and I were recently in a hit-and-run accident involving his car (a 1980 Turbo Trans Am (Pontiac)) and a new Nissan Pickup Truck. We were stopped waiting for a traffic light when we were struck. The Pickup was not going too fast, but we got quite a jolt anyway. We rushed out of the car and saw his pickup. The front of it was all broken, headlights were broken, the bumper was dented, and the grill was destroyed. There was water pouring out, and I think some oil also. (Despite this, it was still in temporary drivable shape). I am telling you all this because the Trans Am suffered NO DAMAGE. (Well, a few small scratches on the paint). You won't see me driving one of those cheap, unsafe (I am waiting for the flames) foreign cars. Or one of those flimsy American cars, either. A pretty good plug for big American cars, though, huh? -- From the virtual mind of Allyn Fratkin sdcsvax!allyn@Nosc UCSD Pascal Project {ucbvax, decvax, ihnp4} U.C. San Diego !sdcsvax!allyn
