From: Patrick Hayes <hayes@granite.cr.bull.com> I read the resumes on the different forces present with interest. However, the data on the forces sent on the Clemenceau is incorrect. Before sending the Clemenceceau, all fixed wing aircraft execpting a few naval recon aircraft were taken off and replaced with attack helecopters whose most likely usage would be in helping to stop an Iraqi blitz. The French government has made theatening noises on sending the carrier Foch (this time with their attack wings) to the gulf if Iraq interns the french citizens present in Iraqi controlled areas. Given the news I just heard on the radio, we may soon find out if this was serious or not... Pat
