From: arnaud@samsung.com (Alain Arnaud) In Av Week of 8/20 on page 23, there's an article titled "Israel rates US Air Power Superior to Iraq's Forces" Here's a small paraphrase: The US would be able to employ massive air power to effectively destroy the Iraqui Air Force and air defense system in less than a week and then would need 48 hours to shut down the Iraqui army by destroying command control centers, fuel and water supply facilities and communications stations. Don't expect any great tank battles in the desert, the article also said.
