From: Helmuts A. Fiefs <riga@uncecs.edu> One of the respondents mentioned a 2 star that was killed in RVN. This was Bruno Hochmuth, CG Third Mardiv. The story that he flew into a artillery arc was a late one. The initial story is that he was greased by a Vietnamese Major who carried the bomb onto the Helo. The other story was that it was one of his own men. Bruno was not a popular guy nor a particularly effective general. I think the Marine Corps ooozed through the investigation....
