From: Ran El-Yaniv <yaniv%shum.huji.ac.il@CUNYVM.CUNY.EDU> The Israeli contender for the US Army RPV competition has made an 80 minute flight two days ago. The craft, powered by two motors (pusher and puller) is 7 meters long and has a wing-span of 9 meters. The expected payload is (reportedly) 40kg, which seems a bit low. I suspect the payload is a mistake (especially since the flight time of the test flight was reported as 80 HOURS twice, than corrected).
