My friend's brother was in an accident of the Easter holiday. He was driving along a wet road, when another car began to spin around, into his lane. He tried avoiding it by driving up an embankment, head-on into a pole, and then the car fell back the down hill into the passenger side of the other car. He is alive, with the only injuries being brusies from the seatbelts. The passenger of the other car was thrown out and killed instantly. The other driver, also without seatbelts on, was injured. I'd rather have bruses, wouldn't you? -barry -- Barry Evans {apollo, cadmus, decvax, linus, masscomp}!wivax!evans Wang Institute (617) 649-9731 x383

Someone forgot to stop at a red light and smashed into the right side of this car. My friend was hurled into the dashboard and shattered his jaw and the side of his face. Need- less to say, he wasn't wearing his seatbelt. Moral: Wear your seatbelt even in the city. You're never going too slow to get your face smashed in by some lunatic. and, Make your passenger wear a seatbelt too.
