To anyone interested in books on survival (and, for that matter, any military
or weapons-related areas), I recommend you get a catalog from Delta Press.
There are other publishers/dealers in ths kind of books, like Paladin
and others, but Delta has a rather good and comprehensive catalog.

There are three pages of book listings in this catalog under the heading
of "Survival". I believe the original requester was interested in FM 21-76,
the field manual titled "Suvival". The 1986 edition is stock # C-431 at
$17.95; the 1976 edition is closeout priced at $9.95 (# C-359).

There is also a USAF Survival manual (64-5) which is # C-369 at $10.00,
and other books, like "Nuclear War Survival Skiils", "Hard-Core Poaching",	"Bad Times Primer", "The Survival Retreat", "The SAS Survival Manual",
"Survivalist's Medicine Chest", "Survival Medicine", etc.

Of course, in the other 76 pages of this catalog, there are other books
which could be interpreted as being "survival"-oriented.

The only problem I have with this kind of catalog is that I want to have
a copy of every book in it, and I think a lot of them are overpriced for
the relatively thin pamphlets you get in many cases. If I ever ran a
library, I'd buy one of each -- unfortunately, it is next to impossible
to find stuff like these books in libraries. :-(
