From: Mary Shafer <shafer@skipper.dfrf.nasa.gov> When I was in Tangier last month I went to the Malcolm Forbes Museum. Lo and behold, there was a large (approximately 2 meters/yards) model of HMS Rodney, with all her armament forward. This museum is an awesome collection of model soldiers, many in dioramas of famous battles. Naval battles, too. Not much on aviation, though. I did notice that one observation balloon (ca. WW I) had been made from a toilet float. I recommend this museum highly to sci.military readers. How to justify going to Morocco to see it is left as an exercise for the readers, however. -- Mary Shafer shafer@skipper.dfrf.nasa.gov ames!skipper.dfrf.nasa.gov!shafer NASA Ames Dryden Flight Research Facility, Edwards, CA Of course I don't speak for NASA "A MiG at your six is better than no MiG at all"--Unknown US fighter pilot
