For the Memphis Belle-ers, on the magazine stands at your local
supermarket, there is the December issue of _WINGS_, a Sentry
publication. The feature, comprising about 2/3 of the issue
is the making of the movie _MEMPHIS_BELLE_. There is total
disclosure of the 5 real B-17s that were used... how multiple
negatives were used in the printing room to give the illusion of
a huge formation... how scale RC models were used... how special
effects similar to Star Wars was done... how the full size bombers
in the background were only foreshortened 'billboards'...

Another article in the mag is about all the weird airplane designs
that barely made it off the drawing board or out of the prototype shop.

By either my subscription to _WORLD WAR II_ or ordering from Kaufman's
Army-Navy Goods, I've received a catalog from... ZENITH BOOKS, Worlds
Best Selection of Aviation, R/C and Military Books and Video Tapes...
It's 54 pages of smaller than classified pages type, sectioned into
calendars, genesis of flight, WW1, between the wars, WW2, War in Asia
and the Pacific, Korea, Vietnam, Falklands & Grenada, Modern Military
Hardware, Military Vehicles(be still my heart), Warships, Helos,
Military Histories, Space & Future AV., Civil & Light AV., Gen.
Interest, Air Racing, Air Shows, Private Pilot, Homebuilder, Aero-
nautics & Technical, Modelbuilder, R/C, ..... There are seven pages
of Video titles... There is something for everyone, but 3/4
emphasis on aviation. Convinced? call 1-800-826-6600 for this
fall 1990 catalog. The cover is a Hellcat painted in likeness to the
one of Lt. Vrachiu, Pacific ace, from the LONE STAR FLIGHT MUSEUM,
HOUSTON. They promote orders received by Dec 15 will arrive
	in time for Christmas.
If I had more bandwidth, I'd list some good titles. Bye y'all.
	that's -OWARI- from GLOWWORM-7-9-4
	best regards, rbeville@tekig5.PEN.TEK.COM
