In Baltimore, we have 2 Naval Vessels on display in the Inner Harbor, near the
National Aquarium. The first is the WWII submarine (Gato Class, I believe)
USS Torsk. The other is the USF Constellation. Both are open for tours, but
I do not recall the admission fee for either. As a side note, the
USF Constellation is NOT the ship it claims to be. There have been two ships
with that name, the second one built from timbers of the first back when
Congress wouldn't let the Navy build new ships, only repair old ones (around
1850's I think). The most obvious difference between the two versions of the
Constellation is the rounded stern on the new ship; this technology didn't
exist when the Constellation was first constructed.
