From: <ames!ames!claris!portal!cup.portal.com!mmm@uunet.UU.NET> I have some WW2 manuals for military electronics equipment available free if you pick them up at my house or for a small fee if you want them by mail. Priority goes to people who have the actual equipment described by these manuals. AN/ARN-8 Marker Beacon Receiver RAK-7 Radio Receiver AM-40/AIC Interphone Amplifier AN/ARC-1 Aircraft Radio Equipment AN/ARC-2 Aircraft Radio Equipment ZB-3 Aircraft Radio Homing Adapter Equipment LM-15 Crystal Calibrated Frequency Indicating Equipment AN/APN-4 Radio Set I intend to keep the following manuals, but would consider parting with them to a sufficiently interested party. TS-45/AP Radar Test Set TS-146/UP Radar Test Set TS-147/UP Radar Test Set TS-148/UP Radar Spectrum Analyzer I'd be interested in what installations had the AN/APS-4, AN/APS-6A, and AN/APS-15 radars. These are some of the radars mentioned in these manuals. I know AN/APS-15 was used in B-17 bombers, because there's pictures of TS-148/UP being used both inside and outside the bomber. I'd like to know what theaters and during what time span these radars were used. I'd also like to know if there were microwave spectrum analyzers which are older than the TS-148/UP, either military or civilian.
